CITY COUNCIL DECLARES DROUGHT CONDITIONS ENDED IN VACAVILLE

On April 25, 2017, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2017-048 declaring drought conditions ended in Vacaville.

The Council directed staff to implement normal conditions as described in the 2014 City of Vacaville Urban Water Shortage Contingency Plan and to continue to prohibit wasteful water uses pursuant to Section 13.20 of the Vacaville Municipal Code.

 

GOVERNOR BROWN DECLARES DROUGHT STATE OF EMERGENCY ENDED

On April 7, 2017, Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr. issued Executive Order B-40-17, declaring the drought emergency over in all counties in California except Fresno, Kings, Tulare, and Tuolumne. This order rescinded emergency regulations previously put into place. The provisions of Executive Order B-37-16, Making Water Conservation a California Way of Life, are kept in place.
