What’s happening with summer programs? The Parks and Recreation Department is working hard to develop options for operating summer programming as safety regulations from the federal, state, and county offices allow. We’ve suspended all non-virtual programming through June 14. Please check back for weekly updates. Stay safe, Vacaville!
CreekWalk Concert Series and 4th of July Concert and Fireworks Show Cancelled Through July. The City of Vacaville has canceled the CreekWalk Concert series through July, as well as the 4th of July concert and firework show.
Various City Departments were involved in making this difficult decision and it was not made lightly. Due to the uncertainty of when large gatherings will be allowed and with deadlines for contracts and deposits upon us City officials felt the most prudent action would be to cancel this year’s downtown 4th of July celebration.
The City is working with bands and vendors to reschedule performances in the hope that it will be able to resume the CreekWalk Concert Series in late summer or early fall; however, state and county directives must be considered. For additional information and updates visit www.creekwalkevents.com
