VHA still accepting online applications for Rocky Hill Veteran's Housing Project

Minimum of three-person households with at least one veteran

    The Vacaville Housing Authority (VHA) is excited to announce it will continue to accept online applications from households that include a Veteran for the Rocky Hill Veteran’s Housing Project Waiting List. 

    Applications will ONLY be accepted online. The apartments that will be available are located at:

    582 Rocky Hill Road
    Vacaville, CA 95688

    The Waiting List is for three (3) bedroom units for Veterans and their families. Units are anticipated to be available in December 2018.

    This is not for the Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List. Applications are for the Rocky Hill Veteran’s Housing Project. Applications will not be accepted from households that do not include a Veteran. To be eligible to apply, households must meet minimum subsidy standard requirements for a three (3) bedroom voucher, have a maximum of eight (8) household members and have an annual household income below:

    Waiting List applications will be accepted for the Rocky Hill Veteran’s Housing Project online only at https://www.waitlistcheck.com/CA1039 starting Monday, September 17, 2018 at 8:30 A.M. The website is accessible from any computer or mobile device with internet access. A computer is available to complete online applications in the VHA office located at 40 Eldridge Ave. Suite #2, Vacaville, CA 95688 Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. After you have successfully applied, you will receive a receipt by email with a confirmation number and instructions for checking your status online. Only one application per family will be accepted. Applications that do not include a Veteran, do not meet minimum subsidy requirements, are incomplete, or are duplicate applications will be rejected.

    Waiting list priority is based on the preferences you check on your application. For a list of preferences and definitions, click for VHA or SCHA. The more preferences you meet, the closer your position will be to the top of the waiting list (keep in mind that you must provide proof that you meet these preferences when your name reaches the top of the list).

    Changes to your waiting list application must be made in writing on an Application Update Form (Vacaville applicants -  click here; Solano County applicants- click here) and can be submitted in person or by mail to: Vacaville Housing Authority, 40 Eldridge Avenue Suite 2, Vacaville, CA 95688.

    If the Housing Authority cannot contact you at the most current address on file, your name will be removed from the waiting list.

    You can check your status (active or inactive) on the Wait List two ways:

    1. Online, log on to www.waitlistcheck.com
    • Enter the 4 digit YEAR of your birth
    • Enter your Social Security Number (do not use dashes, just enter the 9 digits)
    • You can print a copy of the information for your records
    • Click on Log out when you are done
