THE VACAVILLE HOUSING AUTHORITY IS ANNOUNCING THE OPENING OF THE HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER SECTION 8 PROGRAM WAITING LIST 

 

PLEASE NOTE: THE DATE AND TIME OF THE OPENING HAS CHANGED. APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED ONLINE ONLY STARTING FRIDAY, November 1, 2019 AT 11:00 AM AND REMAIN OPEN UNTIL THE VACAVILLE HOUSING AUTHORTY RECEIVES 600 APPLICATIONS

 

Waiting List applications will be accepted online only at https://www.waitlistcheck.com/CA1039-129. The website is accessible from any computer or mobile device with internet access.

 

Families whose annual income does not exceed the following are eligible to apply:

 

       Family of:                           One (1)      $30,000                    Five (5)      $46,300

                                                   Two (2)      $34,300                      Six (6)      $49,750

                                                   Three (3)      $38,600                Seven (7)      $53,150

                                                   Four (4)      $42,850                  Eight (8)      $56,600

 

APPLICATIONS WILL BE PLACED ON THE WAITING LIST BY PRIORITY AND SELECTED BY LOTTERY.

 

After you have successfully applied, you will receive a receipt by email with a confirmation number and instructions for checking your status online. Only one application per family will be accepted. Applications that are incomplete or are duplicate applications will be rejected.

Assistance includes locating the website designated to apply for the Solano County Housing Authority Section 8 Housing Voucher waiting list and setting up a free email account if needed, to complete the application. They will also address common questions that may cause a delay in completing the forms with a brief overview of what they can expect.

If you do not have a library card, you can get one-time use to access the computers. You will be required to present a form of photo ID including, but not limited to, state issued driver’s license or ID, print out from the DMV, expired photo ID, Costco card with photo, etc.
