Community meetings scheduled for Park Parish input

Project is in the Southtown area near Magnolia Park

The City of Vacaville’s Community Development Department will be holding several community meetings to receive feedback from residents on changes being considered for a project in the Southtown area near Magnolia Park.

The applicant, Agape LLC, is proposing to convert the existing Neighborhood Commercial parcel within Southtown to Medium Density Residential, and, construct 21 single-family detached homes. Preliminary designs for the homes are available at the following link:

Planning staff will be holding remote (Zoom) neighborhood meetings on the following dates, to review the Park Parish proposal and engage in dialogue with neighbors about their ideas and concerns.  

The first neighborhood meeting, which will be a Zoom meeting, will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2020. The second meeting, also a Zoom meeting, will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2020.

The item is tentatively scheduled to be brought to the Planning Commission at its meeting on July 21, 2020. This meeting will be a Zoom teleconference meeting.

Comments on items may be emailed to or any of the staff listed below by 4:30 pm the evening of the meeting. Members of the public may also participate and address Commissioners during the meeting via teleconference.  Teleconference instructions will be posted with the Planning Commission agenda by July 17, 2020, on the City’s website at or call 707.449.5140 for instructions.
