In cooperation with local law enforcement agencies, Solano Sheriff Thomas A. Ferrara has imposed a Countywide Local Emergency and Curfew Order effective immediately, commencing this evening, June 2, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. The curfew requires people in the County of Solano to stay indoors from 8:00 p.m. through 5:00 a.m. The Local Emergency will remain in place until 5:00 a.m. on June 4, 2020 or until the Declaration of Local Emergency is rescinded or extended at the discretion of the County.  Local Emergency and Curfew Order

City Council terminates contract of City Manager Jeremy Craig

Assistant City Manager Aaron Busch named Interim City Manager

At the March 24, 2020 City Council meeting, during closed session, the Vacaville City Council voted 5-0 to exercise the option to terminate the employment agreement with City Manager Jeremy Craig.  This action is effective immediately and is without cause under the terms of the contract.

The decision was made after careful consideration.  The City Council respects the privacy of its employees and former employees.  Since this is a confidential personnel matter, there will be no further comments.

Assistant City Manager Aaron Busch will serve as the Acting City Manager until such time as the Council takes further action.
