Vacaville Downtown Specific Plan Open House Scheduled for Oct. 24
The open house discussion will focus on identifying the types of businesses that Vacaville would like to attract, innovations in street and sidewalk design, and parking options in Downtown Vacaville. City staff and other experts will be on hand to talk with Vacaville residents, property and business owners about a long-term vision for downtown. The discussion will include the steps necessary to take that vision and turn it into reality through the Downtown Specific Plan.
Participants will have an opportunity to view potential plans and weigh in on what they think will make Downtown Vacaville more vibrant. Stations will be set up where participants can engage in in-depth conversations with experts on a wide range of topics such as parking, economic development, housing, pedestrian and cyclist friendly street design. Feedback given will then be used to shape the final Vacaville Downtown Specific Plan.
