Save the date for the upcoming Vacaville Museum Guild Holiday Home Tour, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. December 9, 2017. The featured home this year is the beautiful Buck Mansion, displaying holiday décor throughout.
This is a rare opportunity to see this 4,500 sq. ft. historic home, built in 1891, and experience all of its beautiful interior and seasonal splendor. Another lovely and interesting home is actually two homes built in the late 1800’s, one purchased in 1982, and the other in 2000, then brilliantly conjoined, creating a 3 level massive home, containing all of the features desired by owners Phyllis Blair and Richard Urquhart. They, along with all of our Tour Homes, are the true embodiment of the holiday spirit.
The self-guided tour begins at the Vacaville Museum, 213 Buck Avenue, where you will be given your map to the festively decorated homes. The Museum will be open at 9:15 a.m., where you can also enjoy some sweet treats and raffle prize opportunities before starting your tour. Don’t miss this Vacaville holiday tradition.
Tickets are $30 and are on sale, cash or check only, at the Museum, Wed-Sun, 1-4:30 pm. All proceeds go to support the Vacaville Museum, A Center for Solano County History. For more information, call 707-447-4513.
