The Current Planning Division works with the community and developers to help design and build new residential, commercial and industrial projects located within Vacaville city limits.  The Current Planning Division is responsible for ensuring that development projects meet adopted land use plans and zoning requirements, which are outlined under the Development Standards tab.  The division handles requests for zone changes, subdivisions, commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects.   The division also processes minor permits for projects such as home occupations and home day cares.  Together, we work with other agencies, City departments and the community to help achieve a more livable environment for current and future residents, businesses and visitors to Vacaville.


The Current Planning Division offices reside at the south end of City Hall located at 650 Merchant Street, Vacaville, CA 95688.  Our offices are open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with closures on regular holidays.
