Investigative Services Division  
Lt. Randy Weaver is the Investigative Services Division Commander. The ISD Commander manages the Crime Suppression Team, Narcotics Enforcement Team, Investigative Services Section, Crime Analysis and Crime Prevention and Property and Evidence. Lieutenant Weaver has nearly 30 years experience with Vacaville PD and has been a Commander for over five years. He has worked in many of the department's special assignments, received recognition and medals for service and served on the board of community based organizations such as PAL and Homeless Collaboration. He has a Master's Degree from St. Mary's College and a BA from Chapman University.

Bob DentonBOB DENTON

LIEUTENANT

Patrol, Youth Services, SWAT Division
Lt. Bob Denton began his career with the Vacaville Police Department in 1986. He has served as a Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, SWAT team member, and Detective prior to being promoted to Sergeant in 1995. As a sergeant Bob supervised Patrol, the Street Enforcement Team, Family Investigative Response Services Team (FIRST), Office of Professional Standards, SWAT, and the Investigative Services Section. Bob was promoted to Lieutenant in 2009 and is currently serving as a Patrol Commander. Bob holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from California State University Sacramento and was awarded a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University.

Craig Courtemanche, Lt.CRAIG COURTEMANCHE

LIEUTENANT

Administrative Services Division

Lt. Craig Courtemanche is the Commander of the Administrative Services Division, which includes the Volunteers in Policing Services Program (VIPS), the Family Resource Center, the Family Investigative Response Services Team, the Office of Professional Standards, the Communications Center, the Training Section, Facilities and Technology and the Records Section.

 

Craig holds a B.A. in Human Relations, and was awarded a Master's degree in Public Administration from Golden Gate University.  Craig started his law enforcement career with the Santa Maria Police Department in 1982, and came to Vacaville in 1984.  He has over 28 years law enforcement experience.

 

Craig teaches various law enforcement topics at both Solano and Napa Community Colleges and Public Administration at Brandman University.  In addition to his regular command responsibilities, he also is in charge of the Department‘s Mobile Field Force.
