Commission and Advisory Groups

The Community Services Commission consists of seven members appointed by the City Council to make recommendations on issues involving parks, recreation, open space, public right-of-way beautification projects, and community services programs.   The Commission meets at 7 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month. A subcommittee of the Commission, the Arts Advisory Committee, meets at 6 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month.   Meetings for both groups are held at City Hall in the City Council Chambers.

Staff from the Community Services Department also provides assistance to the Commission on Aging, the Senior Roundtable, and the Youth Roundtable.
