"Take Charge of Your Future"           College & Career Day

What is "Take Charge of Your Future"?

This event provides an opportunity for professionals working in business, government and education to mentor youth in career choices and life destinations through interactive displays. Many college representatives will also be on hand to provide college counseling and entrance requirement information.

For youth, this event will provide an opportunity to meet, learn and experience potential career and college choices and work experience opportunities. For parents, not only can you learn with your child about future career choices, but there will be information available about programs, scholarships, and financial aid to assist your child's career goals.

Who is sponsoring "Take Charge of Your Future"?

This event is sponsored by the City of Vacaville's Youth Roundtable and the Vacaville Police Activities League. The Youth Roundtable is comprised of representatives from the City, area school districts, local businesses, churches and health organizations that serve local youth audiences. The Youth Roundtable meets monthly to discuss related issues. Vacaville PAL offers free or low cost programs for youth ages 7-18 that focus on enriching their lives and providing fun and educational activities that builds a bond between cops, kids and the community.

When and Where will "Take Charge of Your Future" occur?
