A high pressure system is bringing dangerous heat to the Bay Area and elevating fire concerns through Sunday. Temperatures are expected to be in the 100s. It is important to look after those whose health may be affected by the heat wave, particularly children, older adults and pets. Below are helpful tips on staying cool from the National Weather Service:
Never leave children or pets alone in a parked car.
Drink more water than usual.
Limit outdoor strenuous activities during the hottest time of the day.
Wear light colored clothing and a hat.
Seek air-conditioned buildings.

Letter coming to all customers the week of June 11
Post Date:06/08/2018 10:52 AM
The City is in the process of rerouting our meter reading operations to have meters read each billing cycle by geographical area. The rerouting process will not impact your water or sewer service. This change will allow field staff to read and service meters more efficiently, increasing our responsiveness to address customer requests.
Letters will be mailed to customers beginning the week of June 11th to update those with a new billing cycle. Please take the time to review your letter which explains how your specific billing account will change after the rerouting has been completed. Should you have questions, please contact us by phone at (707) 449-5128 or by email at email@example.com.
