Aaron Busch has been hired as the new Assistant City Manager for the City of Vacaville.
His first day of work was Tuesday, May 16, 2017.
Busch brings over 29 years of municipal government experience to the City, including six-plus years at the City of Rancho Mirage, over 11 years with the City of Roseville, eight-plus years with Yuba City, and the last 2-plus years in Rancho Cordova as the Director of Community Development.
He is a graduate of Fresno State University with a B.A. in Geography with an emphasis in Urban Planning and a Minor in Public Administration.
“Aaron was selected from an outstanding field of applicants,” City Manager Jeremy Craig said. “His skill set will dovetail nicely with the rest of the staff, and his experience and background will help us continue to move forward. I’m looking forward to working with him, and I am certain he will fit in nicely with our community.”
Busch, who is married and has two college-aged children, is equally excited to be coming to Vacaville.
“I’m looking forward to becoming a part of the Vacaville community,” Busch said. “There’s a solid foundation of success here and I want to help build on that foundation.”
