  • Introduction: Representatives from the California Raptor Center will be at the Vacaville Cultural Center Library.

Representatives from the California Raptor Center will be at the Vacaville Cultural Center Library as a part of the library’s celebration of “Promises Made, Promises Kept.” Children and their families will be able to meet various birds of prey (a.k.a. “raptors”) that have been rescued from the wild and learn plenty of interesting facts about these winged predators.  This program will happen on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 3:30 p.m.

“Maybe you’ll see an eagle, an owl, a kestrel, or a hawk! They’re all magnificent and important animals in our world. What makes these creatures so amazing? Find out!” says Nancy Vitavec, the children’s librarian at the Vacaville Cultural Center Library.

This program is provided for free to the public, thanks to the Vacaville Friends of the Library. The library is located at 1020 Ulatis Drive. For further information call 1-866-57-ASKUS or look on the library website at www.solanolibrary.com.
